With all the media coverage of the infusion of money for education in the last few days, you would think a person would have some answers not more questions … Not true for me.

I would like to know if the funding formula will once and for all be fixed, or will we all be wondering what's happening every few months?

If staff were to be hired back with this infusion of money, will the government be sustaining the funding or will staff just be laid off again in the spring?

With the Near North District School Board having to go through a second accommodations session this coming year, I'm curious as to how other boards are building schools and have not had to go through accommodations to date. The declining enrollment is not only in the Near North Board.

I also don't understand how the Board can spend the money however they wish, when the money is always given in envelopes and told what is to be spent where.

It is very confusing to have politics in education. I don't see how it benefits the children. I think there needs to be less finger pointing, patting on backs, bickering and sly maneuvers so everyone can work together to do what is best for our children.
