Local man charged with convey a false message

On the 25th of Aug. shortly before 1 AM, while at a local party, it is alleged that a man called the Canadian Border Services and advised them that if they did not return his marijuana, that had previously seized from him, there would be a repeat of 9 11.

Cst. Helene Boisonneault of the North Bay Police was called to investigate the matter and on the 29th of Aug. a man turned himself into Police Headquarters.

Matthew PHILBIN 18 years old of Dube St. in Corbeil is charged with Convey a False Message and is to attend court on the 9th of Oct.
