Fight at waterfront ends in arrest

On the 15th of Aug. at approximately 8 PM Cst. Matt Parker and Al Bedard of the North Bay Police received a call to attend the Lake Nipissing waterfront near the band shell in regards to youths fighting.

The officers arrived and located the youths in question and ended up arresting one of the youths.

This young man then began yelling and swearing at the officers while being arrested.

Mark PRUDHOMME 18 years old of McNamara St. is charged with 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (marijuana and ecstasy), Causing a Disturbance, Assault and Threatening. He was held for a bail hearing.
