Vehicle and cash stolen

East Ferris Twp - The North Bay OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at the East Ferris Community Centre, Library and Fitness Centre over the weekend in which a vehicle and quantity of cash were stolen.

Sometime overnight Saturday August 11th, and 8:00 a.m. Sunday August 12th, 2007, thieves forced their way into the East Ferris Community Centre, the Library and the Fitness Centre located at 1257 & 1267 Village Road, Astorville, Ontario. The thieves made off with a black 2001 Dodge Dakota, an estimated $700 in cash as well as an undetermined amount of liquor. As a result, the interior of the three facilities sustained extensive damage.
