Two men arrested for aggravated assault

On the 11th of Aug. at about 3:30 PM two men entered an apartment within the city and began attacking another man within.

The beating was severe enough to cause the victim to lose consciousness and had blood coming out of his nose and ear. He was brought to the hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries.

A female resident within the same apartment called the North Bay Police where Csts. Elia and Lingley responded and located two males in another residence a short distance away.

Shane SOUTHWIND 29 years old of 2nd Av. is charged with Aggravated Assault and was held for a bail hearing.

Jeff HEWITT 27 years old of 1st Av. is also charged with Aggravated Assault and was held for a bail hearing.
