17 year old arrested in sling shot incident

On the 31st of July shortly before noon Det. Cst. Steve Trahan and Cst. Chris Marshall of the North Bay Police Service were canvassing residents in the area of Clarence St.

At this time the officers heard a projectile being directed at them. The officers conducted a further investigation in this matter and eventually located a 17 year old male youth who had used a sling shot and steel ball to attack the officers.
He was arrested and charged with Assault With a Weapon, Mischief,
Breach of Probation and Weapons Dangerous. He is to attend court on the 12th of Sept.
