Best Western marks 30th anniversary

MP Anthony Rota congratulates Best Western and Angela Johnston, Director of Sales and Marketing accepts.

Today the Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was an opportunity of celebrating with the Best Western North Bay who is Celebrating their 30th Anniversary. Well wishes and Congratulations during the evening events that dropped by to make presentation of acknowledgement and Certificates of Achievement were our MP Anthony Rota, Mayor Victor Fedeli, Chamber of Commerce President Mark King, Patti Carr, Chamber Staff, Bill Vrebosch, several City of North Bay Councilors along with members of the business community staff members with 21 years, 25 years services where also present.

Best Western North Bay was thanked for their contributions to the community, tourism in our region and being a good citizen with their involvement in many organizations, boards, committees, sports and North Bay's economy. With 30 years in business in North Bay and 15 of the years as a Best Western, with it start as a Disco Night Club the Gemini Room with major expansion in 1977 building on guest rooms, restaurants and conference space making it North Bay's Largest Hotel Convention.

Angela Johnston, Director of Sales and Marketing was honoured to accept the Certificates on behalf of the Best Western North Bay. Angela invited all visitors to sign the Guest Books, which will be added to a time capsule. Angela, states that she will be making a call to the community to contact her or drop by the hotel any items, memorabilia, photos, well wish letter that they would like to share with the Best Western for a time capsule that will be re-open when the property turns 60 years old. We have several hundred of photos of couples that have been married at the Best Western, parties, conventions and marketing pieces, but would love to see your past memories to put in the capsule. The Best Western North Bay will be doing many other activities during the next few months to celebrate with the community, customers and staff to celebrate this milestone.
