A mix of sun and cloud to sunny skies for the East Fire Region as a high pressure system moves eastward. These conditions will be short lived however as a fast moving system in northwestern Ontario moves rapidly eastward through the day bringing showers and a risk of thunderstorms by evening. Winds will increase to strong southerly as the system moves into the province. Temperatures are at or near seasonal values.

The Ministry of Natural Resources reminds the public that before burning please check with your municipality to be advised of their burning regulations. Never leave your fire unattended and make sure it is completely extinguished before leaving.
