Mother Nature's wrath

The skies lit up over the city Sunday night as Mother Nature demonstrated her power.

The intense thunder storm sent Frank "The Toe" Caruso and his fiancé Cathy Baril heading for their basement when they heard a couple of loud cracks of thunder that were to close for comfort.

This morning the couple discovered the neighbour’s tree had been transplanted to their driveway. The couple spent the morning calling around to have the tree cleared away, and of course each called their respective employers with a ‘dog ate my homework,’ type excuse as to why they would not be at work today.
