Baytoday was tipped off this morning that the province-wide strike by construction workers may be over as workers have returned to their jobsites.

Early reports indicate the union ordered construction workers back to work and that a tentative deal has reached by all parties involved.

Work came to a standstill earlier this month and impacted a number of jobs in the region including the Mattawa Hospital project, North Bay Hospital project and the city’s new water filtration site; however, sources tell BayToday.ca that workers are back on the job at these sites.
