North Bay sisters Lise and Joanne Leclair are asking their hometown of North Bay to help them and their team “Routin’ for Routly” join in the fight against breast cancer. The duo will be joining thousands of courageous and committed women and men this September for a two day 60 kilometer walk to raise funds for breast cancer.

As participants in the walk the sisters have a personal goal of raising $2000 each and are very excited to do something in the big fight against breast cancer.

Every step they take will be in memory of Sheril Routly, dear mother, mother-in-law and friend who lost her battle with breast cancer this past May.

The sisters will be in North Bay on June 23rd for a garage and bake sale hosted by their parents Sue & Gene Leclair with all proceeds going to the 2007 Weekend to End Breast Cancer.

To help them reach their goal please stop by 97 Gladstone Avenue on Saturday or visit www.endcancer.ca to make a donation online or call 416-815-WALK (9255).

Proceeds from The Weekend to End Breast Cancer will benefit The Princess Margaret Hospital, a leader in the fight against cancer and the largest insitution in Canada exclusively devoted to cancer treatment, research and education.
