The North Bay Police Association is proudly hosting the “Kids, Cops and Canadian Tire Fishing Days”.

This program is a partnership between the Police Association of Ontario, Bob Izumi’s “Fishing Forever” program and Canadian Tire Corporation and has been in existence since 2003.

Last year, various Police Associations held fifty events across the province resulting in 7500 children spending time fishing with our police officers. The program presents a great opportunity for children to foster respect for the environment and our natural resources while interacting with members of the police community.

In partnership with the 22 Wing Military Police, the Anishnabek Police Service, Enforcement Officers of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the local Canadian Tire, officers will be hosting a half-day event on 23 June 2007 from 9 A.M. to Noon at the Circle Lake Playground on Lake Heights Road in the City of North Bay.

Deserving children from Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Indian Friendship Centre will be in attendance.
