On the 19th of June shortly after midnight it is alleged that a vehicle was stolen from within the city and the driver then in an impaired condition ran into a parked vehicle causing substantial damage to both vehicles.

Cst. Aaron Northrup and Mark McLeod of the North Bay Police arrived on the scene and arrested the driver.

Robert WINFIELD 23 years old of Jane St. is charged with Impaired Driving, Drive with 80 Milligrams, and Theft Over $5000.

He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
