Accused assisted by police

At 0145 hrs today, Cst’s Reaume & Cirullo of the North Bay Police attended at a residence at the 500 Block of Main Street East to investigate a possible Break & Enter in Progress.

Police were met by a 50-year-old male who was trying to gain entry to a locked apartment where the keys were locked inside.

Upon assisting with entry, the police found the keys to the apartment locked inside.

Police also found a quantity of drugs with a street value of $2100.00, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills.

John Villeneuve, 50 years old, Main Street East was arrested and held for a bail hearing, charged with 2 counts of Possession under the CDSA.
