Impaired charges laid in Kapuskasing fatal mvc

On Friday June 08, 2007 at 8:20pm, members of the Kapuskasing OPP were dispatched to a serious single motor vehicle collision on Fred Flat road approximately 11 km north of Highway 11. The vehicle, a red 1997 Ford pick-up truck was traveling southbound towards Kapuskasing when the driver lost control.

The 37 year old passenger, Vina Funnell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to Sensenbrenner Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver:
