Student charged with assault bodily harm

On the 5th of June during the morning hours it is alleged that a fight broke out at a local secondary school and had to be broken up by teachers.

A male youth attacked another male student and struck him repeatedly in the head.

Cst. Al Bedard of the school liaison unit was called and attended.

The officer ended up arresting a 17 year old male student and has charged him with Assault Bodily Harm. He is to attend court on the 18th of July.
