Louise Paquette of Sudbury was honoured Monday as the Woman of the Decade in Northern Ontario at the 10th annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards luncheon in North Bay.

In her role as Director General of FedNor, Paquette has been instrumental in leading community economic development in Ontario’s North over the past 10 years.
