Special service to honour North Bay Police service today

As part of the North Bay Police Service 125 years celebration Gateway Church on Marshal Avenue, will be hosting a non-denominational service to celebrate the Police Service and their members, past and present today at 2 p.m.
As part of the North Bay Police Service 125 years celebration Gateway Church on Marshal Avenue, will be hosting a non-denominational service to celebrate the Police Service and their members, past and present today at 2 p.m.

A special remembrance will be made to honour Constable Fred Lefebrve and Constable Leonard Slater who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving the community.

An special honour guard with Police chief Paul Cook, Mayor Vic, Anthony Rota and Monique Smith will a march from the fire station on Marshal Avenue to the Gateway Church at 1:45pm.

A number of the Pastor’s from around the city’s churches will be participating offering prayers and words of encouragement.
