TIMMINS WOMAN FACING DRUG CHARGES (Temagami, Ontario) A 27-year-old woman faces charges after being stopped by members of the OPP North Bay Traffic Unit for a traffic violation on the 29 June 2006.
Provincial Constable Mark SHANNON stopped the vehicle on Highway 11 in the Municipality of Temagami at approximately 4:03 p.m. Further investigation resulted in charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Jenica Butler 27 of Timmins is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. She will appear in Haileybury Court on the 2 August 2006.

DAMAGE DONE TO EVANTUREL DUMP
(Englehart, Ontario) The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the damaging of the lock at the Evanturel Dump that has occurred on three separate occasions, June 2, 27 and 29, 2006.
The OPP were contacted on the 30 June 2006 at approximately 9:25 a.m. The police were advised that the lock at the Evanturel Dump which is located on Sheppard Lake Road in Ingram Township have been broken off on three separate occasions. On each occasion nothing appears to be missing and nothing else has been damaged.

BREAK-IN UNDER INVESTIGATION
(Haileybury, Ontario) The Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP is investigating the Break and Enter of a South Lorraine Township hunting camp between the 17 June and 1 July 2006.
The Ontario Provincial Police received information of the break-in on the 1 July 2006 at approximately 5:00 p.m. A variety of items have been taken from the camp, some items include food products, Coleman lantern and 2 cordless electric drills.

MAN FACES CHARGES
(Temiskaming Shores, Ontario) A 40-year-old man faces charges after members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence in the former Town of Haileybury on the 30 June 2006.
The Ontario Provincial Police were called to a residence on Marcella Street on the 30 June 2006 at approximately 9:28 p.m. A male person had fled the residence prior to police arrival, investigation by OPP officers resulted in an arrest of a male person on the 1st July 2006 at approximately 5:35 p.m. in the former Township of Dymond.
Denis BEAULIEU 40 of Haileybury is charged with Assault with a Weapon and three counts of Common Assault. He will appear in Haileybury Court on the 4 July 2006.
Provincial Constable Sylvie JULIEN is the investigating officer.
