So Mayor Al will concentrate on Economic
Development and Job Creation in 2013.
Ten minutes after his speech,Council
approves a $329,000.00 contract to a
firm in Sudbury to wash the windows at City Hall.
Is there no firm in North Bay that could
do this job??? If not I am sure the City
could purchase the necessary equipment to
do this work and have City Staff do it
for a lot less money than that.

Well, of course their is, but the City does not want to appear biased to local talent and adhere to standards set 20 years ago when the economy allowed for outsourcing.
