Registration HelpEditorials / Columns To respond in our forums you must register. Classified Ads / What's Happening To post a free classified ad or event in our what's happening section you must register. Classified ad users have the advantage of not having to put any personal information in their classified ads, such as phone numbers or email addresses (unless you want to!). Instead, we provide a contact form that hides your email address. You will receive an email directly from interested parties, and you may respond to them at your leisure. Registration Details Should you decide to register, you need not give your real name. You can register with an alias and a valid email address. Your email address and personal information is never displayed on this site. Your email address is used by us only if you forget your password. One registration will do for all sections (editorials, columns and classifieds and what’s happening). When you register, you will be asked to provide a username/alias and password. This login information is stored as a cookie (a harmless file that resides on your computer, with the sole purpose of identiying you to us) to allow you to return to the site without having to sign in every time you post a response. Should you delete your cookie or sign out, you must use this login information to sign in again. Should you register (recommended) we ask for some general information such as your gender and birthdate. This information may be used for later promotions. Also, this information is used to create a general profile of our audience for sales purposes. Your individual information is never shared. |
