ATTEMPT BREAK AND ENTER At 8:30 PM on the 12th June a man was observed attempting to enter a residence on McLeod St by using a hammer and a screwdriver. The man fled but was located and arrested at a local bar a few minutes later.

At 8:30 PM on the 12th June a man was observed attempting to enter a residence on McLeod St by using a hammer and a screwdriver. The man fled but was located and arrested at a local bar a few minutes later. Gregory Dinwoodie 28yrs of Oakwood Ave has been charged with attempt break and enter, and possession of break in instruments. Csts Scott Buchanan and Darcy Wall are investigating.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE ARREST
At 2:15PM 12 June police attended the Gertrude St area responding to a complaint of a vehicle window being smashed and purse stolen. A suspect was located riding a bicycle near Marshall Ave. He fled on foot but was arrested after a short chase. Property located on his person came from another vehicle entry. Tyler Straughan 28yrs of Gordon Dr has been charged with 3 counts of theft, 2 counts of mischief, possession of stolen property and breach of probation. Cst Dan Shepstone is investigating.
