Home Invasion
At 5:45 PM Oct 1st a man dressed all in black and wearing a ski mask entered a residence on Douglas St carrying what appeared to be a handgun and a can of bear spray. He located a man and a woman in the kitchen, demanded their medication and attempted to tie them up with zip ties. The victims refused and fought back.

During the fight the owners were sprayed with pepper spray but they struck him with a mop and sprayed him in the face with a fire extinguisher until he ran out of the house.

He fled south bound towards High St and is believed to have travelled through people’s yards to the 200 block of Norwood Av where police officers located him wearing shorts and running shoes. He had fire extinguisher residue in his hair and ears but he had discarded his clothing, the mask, gun and a duffle bag somewhere along his route.

Jeremy Mosher 30 yrs of Obrien St has been charged with break enter and commit assault, assault with a weapon, disguise with intent, overcome resistance, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and forcible confinement. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

The accuser’s route that he took from the area of Douglas and High St to the 200 Block of Norwood Av is unknown. The North Bay Police are asking the residents anywhere between or around these areas to check their yards for the discarded clothing, gun, mask and duffle bag.
