ASSAULT BODILY HARM ARREST
The suspect of the assault bodily harm that occurred on May 26th was identified and arrested at 10:15 AM on the 29th May. James O’Connor, 31yrs of Hemlock Island, has been charged with assault, assault cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, mischief, threatening , obstruct police, and 2 counts of breach of recognizance. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC STATS
Over the week ending May 21st the North Bay Police responded to 27 domestic related occurrences that resulted in 7 people being charged with a total of 14 offences. Six males and one female were charged. There were 5 charges of assault, 2 charges of assault with a weapon, 2 charges of breach of recognizance, 1 charge of criminal harassment, 1 charge of harassing phone calls and one charge of threatening. Five of the men and one woman were held in custody for bail hearings, and one male was released on an undertaking.

Over the week ending May 29th the North Bay Police responded to 30 domestic related occurrences that resulted in 5 males and I female being charged with a total of 9 offences. There were 4 charges of assault, 2 charges of threatening, one charge of forcible confinement, 1 charge of mischief, and 1 charge of breach of undertaking. Three males and one female were held in custody for bail hearings. Two males were released on undertakings.
