Assault Charges

The North Bay Police have now completed the investigation of an aggravated assault that occurred at a bush party at the old reservoir off of the end of Ski Club Rd at approximately 1:30am on the 5th May, 2012.

It was reported that during this incident a man was struck in the face with a beer bottle causing deep lacerations that required dozens of stitches to close.

As a result of the police investigation it was revealed that the male was struck in the face with a beer bottle during the altercation after he had brandished a knife.

The following persons have been charged criminally;

1. 18 year old Shaquille Sutherland has been charged with Aggravated Assault

2. 19 year old Anthony Humphrey has been charged with Assault with a weapon as well as Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Detective Constables Jason Long, Fernando Cirullo, Dave Wilson and Constable Andrew Keating Investigated this incident.
