NEW E-MAIL SCAM The North Bay Police wish to inform the public about a new e-mail scam that has shown up in North Bay. One person received 2 e-mails from the Bank of Malaysia advising that they had 7.5 million dollars of inheritance money for him.

The North Bay Police wish to inform the public about a new e-mail scam that has shown up in North Bay. One person received 2 e-mails from the Bank of Malaysia advising that they had 7.5 million dollars of inheritance money for him. The money would be forwarded to his bank account within 48hrs, as soon as they received his name, address, phone number, date of birth, bank account number and a photo copy of his driver’s licence, and other identification. Any one that receives an email similar to this one or receives any other email that requests personal information is advised not to reply to it, and to advise your local police agency.
