ATTEMPT THEFT ARREST At 10:15 pm on 13th June a man was observed going through a vehicle parked on Bank St. The man fled on foot when the resident banged on her front window.
ATTEMPT THEFT ARREST
At 10:15 pm on 13th June a man was observed going through a vehicle parked on Bank St. The man fled on foot when the resident banged on her front window. The police located the male on Cassell St but he broke away from the officer’s grip and fled when the officer tried to arrest him. After a short chase the officer caught and arrested the suspect. Patrick Young 33 yrs of Nugent Dr in Ottawa has been charged with attempt theft and obstructs police. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Darcy Wall is investigating.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE ARREST
At 1:00 pm on the 13th June a young man was observed entering and going through a vehicle on the 3300 block of Trout Lake Rd. The police located the youth a short distance away where he was arrested and a search located 3 gift cards that were missing from the vehicle. The 17 yr old of no fixed address has been charged with, theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Randy Adair is investigating.
