Police ask for help to find missing teen (LOCATED)

A 14-year-old who is not from North Bay and not familiar with the area is missing

Update: The North Bay Police Service are reporting that the missing female teenager, Jocelyn Winter, reported earlier as missing has been found safe and in good health at approximately 11 p.m. this evening.

The North Bay Police Service wishes to thank the public for their assistance in recovering the missing youth.

North Bay Police Service is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 14-year-old girl. 

Jocelyn Winter, described as a First Nations female, is about 6' tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green army jacket with a grey hoodie under it and she had red headphones on.

She was last seen Friday, May 4 at about 6 p.m. in the area of Northgate Square. It is believed she was heading toward Trout Lake Road but she is not a resident of North Bay and not familiar with the area.

Persons with any information that would assist in locating Jocelyn Winter are requested to contact the North Bay Police Service immediately at 705-497-5555.
