Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 276 calls for service that resulted in 17 arrests for a variety of offences that included assaults, domestic assaults, mischief, drug possession, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

ARSON
On June 10 at 12:40 AM, a billboard located on the 2100 block of Algonquin Av was set on fire. The fire was extinguished by the North Bay Fire dept. Cst Scott Berry is investigating.

THEFT/MISCHIEF
Between 3:05 and 4:40PM on June 10, a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at the West Ferris Community Centre. The vehicle was locked but the purse was visible on the passenger floor. Entry was gained by smashing the passenger window with a brick. The purse contained money, credit cards, and all the personal documentation of the victim as well as her family. Cst Ashley St John is investigating.
