ASSAULT POLICE

On the 21 February 2004, at approximately 2:15 a.m., in the Downtown area, a male threw a snowball at a police cruiser, striking the officer. The male was placed under arrest and immediately resisted, assaulting the officer. The Officer received minor injuries.

Kenneth Christopher Hummel, 19, is charged with Assault Police and Assault Resist Arrest. He will appear in court at a later date.

ASSAULT

On the 21 February 2004, shortly after 6:30 p.m., a male person became upset with his boss after being fired and started to wave his fist at him and made numerous threats. John David Watson age 19 of Worthington Street East, North Bay is charged with Assault and four counts of Threatening. He is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT

On the 18th of February 2004 shortly before midnight a male passenger refused to get out of a taxi cab, threatened the driver and would not allow the driver to leave the vehicle. Shane Victor Gauvreau,35, of Burford, Ont., is charged with Utter threats and Forcible Confinement. He is to appear in court at a later date.
