MAN WITH KNIFE On the 13th of Dec. shortly after 1 AM Cst. Randy Adair and Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a downtown bar in regard to a man with a knife.

On the 13th of Dec. shortly after 1 AM Cst. Randy Adair and Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a downtown bar in regard to a man with a knife.

This man had waved this knife towards employees at the establishment.

Upon police arrival the man had had his
knife removed and had left the area. He was located by the officers, arrested and offered resistance.
Michael Oliver WESLEY, 20, of Moose Factory, is charged with being intoxicated and possession of weapons angerous. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.


ARSON

On Dec. 15 shortly after midnight Cst. Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police Service attended a call on Lee Avenue in regard to the North Bay Fire Department being in attendance, extinguishing a vehicle fire. A 1996 GMC Sierra truck, minus the engine, battery and seats (which had been previously removed) had been set on fire.
