Unexpectedly passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the age of 68 years.
Marcel was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Cater) Gagne, and the loving father to Bradley Cater (Kelly), Melissa Cater-Gagne (Mike), and Bryan Cater-Gagne (Bonnie). He was the cherished grandfather to Kyla, Brendan, Rowyn, Sirena, Dylan, Colby, Owen, Mallory, Nathan, and Clara. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Yvonne Foisy (Dorval), Lianne Gagne, Marc Gagne, and Claude Gagne. He is predeceased by his sister Joanne Higdon, and Andre Gagne, as well as his parents Henri-Paul Gagne and Therese (nee Laplante) Gagne. As per Marcel’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's the Apostle R.C. Church on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00am.
