OPP have arrested and charged a man with a weapon offence after seeing "a known wanted person," walking on King Street, West Nipissing."
It happened on May 4, shortly after 3 a.m.
Police arrested him for an outstanding warrant, which contained conditions not to carry any weapons. Police seized two knives from that individual.
Christopher Commanda, 24, from West Nipissing, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and failure to comply with the release order.
Commanda was held for bail court, then released, and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 6, in West Nipissing.
